Today is the day: the NHL is finally back!!! It really gets going tomorrow night at 10 PM ET / 9 PM CT, Ducks @ Golden Knights, but whatever, semantics. Hockey is back, and I have emotions.

With hockey returning (in case you hadn’t heard), I thought I’d do something very timely and Power Rank the Reverse Retro jerseys that were unveiled in November. Buckle up.

1. Anaheim Ducks

I mean, obviously this is number one. Look at that thing. It’s glorious. Plus Wild Wing is wearing a jersey with the actual best logo ever, which just so happens to be his face.

2. Minnesota Wild

Not a Wild fan, but I love this jersey. That’s all I have to say on the matter.

3. Colorado Avalanche

It’s like the Nordiques jersey, but in Avalanche colors. Dope.

4. Arizona Coyotes

When your franchise is irrelevant, you do this. The Yotes knocked this one out of the park.

5. Los Angeles Kings

Clean. Simple. Fantastic jersey. I can only imagine how many of these LeBron James owns. Except he definitely has the “S” removed. In the vein of Jessica Simpson in Season 2 Episode 21 of Newlyweds when she wears a Knicks sweatshirt with the “K” and “S” removed so it says “NICK” because that was her husband’s name. If you know you know. (Me. I know. My wife probably too.)
